The wrinkling of the face and neck starts individually earlier or later, but most often from 35 years on changes are evident. First wrinkling can be treated with conservative methods like Collagen, Hyaluron and/or Botox injections. In our conversation I will determine the dimensions and measures needed to be taken whereby my education and experience guarantees the best possible results. In your first consultation I will establish an individual and comprehensive concept for the correction of the faces’ signs of age, in order to rejuvenate it and make it look fresher. The operative therapy through a facelift of varying dimensions (Mini-lift up to neck/cheeks- and forehead-lift) can be conducted under anaesthetic or in a light sleep. The time for the operation takes 60-100 minutes on each side.
Operation technique
The for each patient individually chosen technique considers the extent of the sagged skin and soft parts as well as the condition of the muscular system. The consequence is a more or less lavish operation to achieve best possible results. For each patient an individual concept is established, to perfectly do justice to the patients wishes and conditions. The resulting scar can hereby reach from the hairline in the temple area to the earflap (mini-lift) or be extended from behind the ear to the back of the head (neck/cheek-lift). Additionally it can run from behind the hairline over the area at the forehead when lifting the forehead. The new operation technique using tumescent anesthesia hardly evokes swelling and hematoma and as a rule nor evident scars are evident in the result. The modified method I use for the tightening obviously preserves your faces’ individuality. The patients’ face appears noticeably rejuvenated after the surgery but does not artificially worked on. Surgery cannot stop aging but among people of the same age the patient will always strike out as the “youngest” lasting many years.
Follow-up treatment
The stationary stay should take 2-3 days. During this time the healing of the wound will permanently be supervised and encouraged through additional treatments (scar-care, lymph drainage therapy) carried out by a professional beautician. These 10 days are an optimum time frame to enable best results after a facelift and to return home well recovered and good-looking. After this period swelling and/or smaller hematoma have mostly receded.They can then easily be camouflaged with make-up. Threads will also have been removed by then. Of course, I will supervise the surgicalresults in arrangement with the patient after 3-4 weeks and again after 3-6 months after the surgery.
